Why I built Jummify

I used classic Memrise for more than five years to learn Korean vocabulary. Changes to the Memrise app motivated me to build a tool centered on the parts of that experience I valued: spaced repetition, community-created content, and a straightforward interface.

I built Jummify around three goals:

  • The app should be user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and intuitive.
  • The app uses research-based spaced repetition algorithms to learn vocabulary.
  • The app provides no AI-generated content or AI agents and retains community-driven content.
